Randolph McAfee, Inc. (RMI) is a woman-owned business formed in 2004 by Jill Randolph McAfee & Wiley B. "Sonny" McAfee. Both husband and wife are recognized as national & international professionals who have spent decades in the fields of public service. RMI is dedicated to providing excellent training and assisting professionals who investigate, apprehend and prosecute criminals. Professional instructors provide training that is purposeful, proactive and positive. Participants enjoy their learning experience which translates into common sense, real life solutions for every day challenges.

Jill Randolph McAfee

Jill Randolph McAfee, President of RMI is an Advanced Certified International Law Enforcement Planner & lifelong educator. Ms. McAfee is a statement analysis expert having conducted jury screening and trial consulting on criminal cases for the state of Texas, including injury to a child, gang writing, police department internal affairs investigations, aggravated sexual assault, investigation of threat communiques, murder and capital murder. She has developed Statement Analysis Investigating Deception - SAID© - which is a process of analyzing statements, searching for clues of truthfulness as well as detecting deception.

Her extensive studies include Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Behavior, Psycholinguistics and Statement Analysis. She has a B.A. in Psychology and a M.Ed. in Educational Supervision (specialty of science) with certifications in Psychology, Sociology and Biology. As Director of the Children's Advocacy Center of Smith County, she worked with law enforcement, prosecutors, the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services, local hospitals and the mental health community unifying their efforts into a successful team. Currently, as President of RMI she oversees instruction all over the United States, instructs and consults on criminal cases rendering opinions using SAID©.

Ted Wilson

RMI's lead legal instructor is Ted Wilson. Ted Wilson retired from the Harris County District Attorney's Office after 34 years. During his tenure with that office, Ted worked as a trial court prosecutor trying everything from misdemeanor cases to capital murder death penalty cases. Then he was assigned to the Special Crimes Bureau. During his 28 years in that Bureau, Ted was a Major Fraud prosecutor, the Major Narcotics Offenders prosecutor, Chief of the Organized Crime Division, Chief of the Major Offender Division and, Chief of the Special Crimes Bureau. Ted was the Chief of the Professional Development Bureau during his last year in that office focusing his efforts on training the attorneys and investigators. Ted has been training police officers for the past 20 years. He is the co-author of the Manual for Arrest, Search and Seizure Warrants published by the Texas District and Count Attorney's Association.
